MyCareer

MyWish was created with care at its core, care for our residents, care for our people and care for our communities.

We believe that you cannot pour from an empty jug and that our role as your employer is to provide you with an environment that will allow you to care for yourself so that you can care for our residents.

We provide weekly one-to-one wellbeing chats once where we catch-up on what is going well and what can go better for you.

When you grow, we grow. With this in mind, we have access to all of the leading learning and development tools available.

The Person In Charge is a crucial part of this culture as they will be the link between the leadership and the carers. The PIC will be fully engaged in delivering our values to the carers whilst also being focussed on ensuring that the carers are providing this experience to our residents. MyWish’s leadership team is there to work with the PIC to ensure that the best care standards are applied. We would also like our PIC to identify new ideas on how we make the wishes of our residents and their loved ones come true.

A message from our CEO Gavin...

MyWish is a new organisation dedicated to delivering safe, rights-based, trauma informed, relationship centred and competency led residential services that enable individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve their full potential, exercise choice and control, and live with dignity within their communities.

Our focus is simple but powerful  to create homes where people feel safe, valued, empowered and supported to live meaningful, independent lives.

This is an exciting opportunity to build something truly impactful from the ground up. We are committed to setting the highest standards in care, empowering individuals, supporting families, and working in partnership with stakeholders to deliver services that make a real difference.

I’m looking forward to the journey ahead and to connecting with others who share a passion for improving disability services.
